Description

T1.1. Professional management of the project and support for implementation (lead: INM)

Main scope of the task is to ensure efficient and correct contractual, operational and administrative management of the project. The project management structure will be defined to ensure the appropriate administration of all issues related to the project implementation. Coordination among partners will be ensured via the organisation of project meetings at least 3 times (M1, M18, M36) during the execution of the project.

WP leaders will be responsible for supervising the implementation of all WP tasks and ensuring appropriate collaboration across WPs. INM will conduct interim assessments (every 6 months) of all partners’ activities. Communication and coordination of reporting to the EC will be INM’s responsibility. The task leader will be in charge to offset carbon emission provoked by project travels. Above processes and requirements will be set out in the Project Management Handbook (D1.1) by M3 and will be updated if improvements are required.

T1.2. Technical and financial coordination of the project (lead: INM)

INM will assume financial control and the distribution of the individual payments to the partners, control of the overall budget, and the settlement of all financial issues with the Commission. AKI will act as Financial Monitor and assist INM in interim assessments on project progress in every 6 months (M5, M11, M17, M23, M29, M35), including developing templates for internal monitoring purposes, systemising project documents supporting Task/ WP completion. AKI will also provide day-to-day support to INM in sorting out eventual budget-related matters within the consortium.

T1.3. Risk management (lead: INM)

The Project Coordinator (PC) will prepare and coordinate the implementation of a Quality Plan (QP), outlining quality assurance procedures (including peer review of deliverables) and a monitoring methodology for supervising tasks, milestones and budget. The QP will ensure the delivery of the results in high-quality standard and on time. Risk Management Plan (RMP) includes the development of risk mitigation strategies and the application of contingency planning throughout the project. Both plans will be delivered in the Project management Handbook and will be updated if quality issues or identified risks arise and documents need improvement.

T1.4. Data management and ethics (lead: AKI)

This task delivers the Data Management Plan (DMP) at M6 and keeps analysing and updating it during the project's active phase. The DMP will ensure the implementation of the FAIR data principles, will describe the handling of research data during and after the end of the project. A data protection officer will be appointed to coordinate the actions and monitor the DMP progress. Regular updates will be promoted so that ethical issues are continuously being considered throughout the project. The PC will be responsible to elaborate the ethical guidelines and for supervising the compliance of these protocols. An assessment of the most relevant risks for both the environmental and health and safety impacts of the proposed actions will be carried out.
