The Knowledge Board The consortium is guided by a Knowledge Board, which is made up of consortium partners and external experts. The Knowledge Board, consisting of a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 15 experienced and qualified scientists, researchers, and experts in the field of soil health and sustainable management, directs scientific and technical decisions and guide our approaches. The partner countries have at least one representative on the Knowledge Board. The Knowledge Board is an integral part of the Soil-X-Change network, which is facilitating the validation of practices and ensures the quality and relevance of knowledge shared within the network. The Knowledge board provides expertise on the effectiveness and suitability of various sustainable soil management practices, reviewing and evaluating soil management practices, and contributing to their validation process. The role of the Knowledge Board is to: • discuss and specify the content of the topic of sustainable soil management practices, • assist and facilitate the decisions made on scientific topics, • act as a central hub for validation of sustainable soil management practices and methods and information/knowledge exchange, • validate the effectiveness and feasibility of on farm methodologies, selection and dissemination of collected best practices, • voluntary attend the national nodes’ workshops and other Soil-X-Change Net meetings/events to provide thematic guidance, answer questions, and offer solutions. |
